I've been spending my minimal free time (and not so free time) being inspired by tumblr blogs. I take what I like from others and create my own way of seeing the world. As a teacher and perpetual student, I'm constantly expressing myself but sometimes I just want to be silent and still say all that I scream inside my heart. Tumblr and tumblr users, thank you for helping me free my mind, body and soul.

The way to love someone is to lightly run your finger over that person’s soul until you find a crack, and then gently pour your love into that crack.

Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.

When did we see each other face-to-face? Not until you saw into my cracks and I saw into yours. Before that, we were just looking at ideas of each other, like looking at your window shade but never seeing inside. But once the vessel cracks, the light can get in. The light can get out.

Living in this transient world leaves many people with a sense of detachment. Not everyone can positively find their place in the real world, and many people live this life with unstated feelings and regrets. Murakami’s novels give a sense of relief to these people.
